Connecticut, The Pics : Day 2 (Part 2)

After an epic day of skating we headed to Ben's cottage in Moodus for some barbecuing and hanging by the lake. Sadly, the guys who run the dam at the reservoir forgot to order a part. Hence, the lake was six-feet lower than it should be. That meant no boating. Swimming turned out to be an interesting adventure as well...

Franz kicks off the night with a little magic hour Roman candle display.

Justen and Jim make their way from the cabin to Ben's plot by the lake.

Rob attempted to swim. Came out dirtier than when he went in.

Ben still approves of the muddy lake.

Despite low water, Franz and Jim headed out on a paddle boat to put on a little fireworks display at sea!
